Hello! I’m Rebecca, the founder of Rebecca Beauty Cosmetics – a wife, proud mum of two, and a cancer survivor who took a leap of faith at 34, leaving my 9 to 5 in marketing to chase my dreams of becoming a makeup artist.

I realised I had a passion for makeup whilst having chemotherapy for Hodgkins lymphoma at the age of 22. I lost my hair and started experimenting with makeup to disguise the effects of treatment. In 2016 I studied at a makeup academy and knew I had to leave my 9-5 in marketing to pursue my passion for makeup and eventually did so in 2019. After a couple of years I turned my dream into reality as a professional makeup artist and social media influencer.

My journey into makeup artistry really took off during lockdown, when I started creating makeup tutorials on Instagram. One of my videos went viral and my page grew from 800 followers to 100k in a year. I now work with brands creating makeup videos alongside my client work.

This time last year we set out to create a cosmetics brand. It has always been my dream to create my own products and I wanted to develop formulas which are high performing,  easy to use and long-lasting. After 12 months of working with our formulators in France we are pleased to launch our first product line.

Today, 16 years after conquering Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, I stand with hope and excitement for all that life has to offer. “Remember, even in tough times never to lose hope that better days are coming”
